Departmental Centres
The School is structured academically into three faculties. This area of the site gives an overview of each faculty and department, as well as the 200+ academic staff and their research interests.
In addition to academic departments SOAS also has regional and interdisciplinary centres which are responsible for a vigorous programme of activities such as conferences, colloquia, seminars and publications.
The Language Centre offers a broad range of language training and related services to the public, government departments, diplomatic services and the commercial sector in the UK and overseas.
International Foundation Courses and English Language Studies (IFCELS) has developed various courses to suit the needs and interests of overseas students.
