Reading lists - design and purpose

There was a time when reading lists did not exist and students had to make up their own. Today they are part and parcel of designing a course.
This workshop will look at how we can make them more effective pedagogically and an integral part of the student’s learning and research strategy. It will also ask participants to think about how, just as importantly, they can avoid academic spoon-feeding.
