Dyslexia and Specific Learning Differences
The Learning Advisors have now moved to Student Services based on the 3rd floor in Vernon Square campus.
The Learning Advisors offer learning support and advice for students and staff relating to specific learning differences (SpLD’s). SpLD’s include dyslexia, dyspraxia, AD(H)D and dyscalculia. They also provide advice and support regarding other disabilities or issues that can impact on learning, such as depression, anxiety and procrastination.
They are committed to enabling students to get the most out of their studies and time at SOAS. We work together with the Disability Office to ensure that having a learning difference or disability does not have to be a barrier to academic achievement.
