A quick guide: School Level
The main School committees associated with QA procedures are:
- Joint Faculty Programme Panel (scrutiny of new programme proposals)
- Learning and Teaching Quality Committee (all aspects of the School's Academic Strategy that relate to academic standards and quality)
- Academic Development Committee (senior policy committee)
Academic Development Directorate
Responsibility for the central operation of the quality assurance procedures rests within the Academic Development Directorate, where the Quality Assurance Managers are located. The Director of Academic Development represents the area on major School committees. The Quality Assurance Managers are the key central contacts in relation to the procedures set out in the Quality Assurance Handbook.
