Brought to you by the Faculty of Law and Social Sciences, this 10-week course offers an introduction to quantitative research methods. Topics covered include survey design, sampling, descriptive statistics, graphs, hypothesis testing, correlation, and multivariate and logistic regression.

No previous knowledge of SPSS, mathematics or statistics is expected, but students are required to attend all lectures, which run throughout Term 2, (Tuesdays 11:00 AM - 1:00 PM) and accompanying computer lab sessions (Thursdays 1:00 - 2:30 PM for the introductory level or 2:30 - 4:00 PM for the intermediate level).
