The best thing about my time here is that there has been a huge improvement in my language skills and I have become more aware of people from various backgrounds.

BA Chinese and Korean

After extensive research I found SOAS the most suitable place for me to study languages. Apart from its excellent reputation in teaching, I felt that the support from the resources would benefit my study tremendously.

The best thing about my time here is that there has been a huge improvement in my language skills and I have become more aware of people from various backgrounds.

There are so many inspirational people at SOAS it would be difficult to name them all but I have to mention my lecturers, university friends and my Academic Enhancement Officer, Sarah Tucker and Widening Participation Officer, Julien Boast, who have all been a huge inspiration.

How would I best summarise SOAS? Here you’re not only intrigued by the lectures but also by the people around you.
