I came to SOAS in the hope of finding something different, a cultural awakening. In fact, when I got here I realised I had come home. Never, have I heard or seen the world so at peace, I mean only at SOAS will you see at one and the same time debates and events in support of both Israel and Palestine happening side by side harmoniously.
As an LLB student I’m not just confined to the usual English law found in every other institution, but I have the opportunity to meet the world on a platform of understanding, cooperation and mutual respect. I’m growing as a person and a citizen of the world.
That’s not all SOAS has to offer. As prospective lawyer, the prestige of SOAS because of its achievement is one that makes me standout from others, as it makes all its students standout. A SOAS graduate is always unique, with a perception and knowledge some may say incomparable.
