Helen Kanitkar Anthropology Library
The Helen Kanitkar Departmental Library contains a large number of items, mostly copies of popular anthropological texts used on BA and MA courses. It also holds slides and videos, as well as copies of successful Upgrade Reports from previous years. A strict honour code is an essential condition of this collection working well for students. The Library largely depends on student volunteers and staff support both in running it and for donations. Do think about volunteering an hour or two of your time each week to the department library!
Importantly, the Library also serves as a PGRS study centre. The room is equipped with new computer terminals for the exclusive use of postgraduate research students, making this an important space for writing and research, as well as for informal meeting and exchange of ideas.
The student librarian officer for 2015-16 is Mia Barrow-Sullivan (firstname.lastname@example.org).
