  • Are telephones in meeting rooms?

    Telephones can be organised for meeting rooms, in addition to the room hire. Two weeks notice is required to organise the telephone handset and line. The hire and set up of the telephone handset and line is @ £25.00 plus VAT per day, with all outgoing calls charged at the standard rate.

  • Can we send conference materials in advance of the event?

    Yes, no more than 2-3 working days in advance, due to limited storage space and please complete and return the Event Materials Delivery Form to the conference office to notify of the delivery.

  • Is Technician support available?

    Yes, to support events in any lecture theatre.
    One calendar month notice is required to booked technician support.
    The hourly rate is £45.00 plus VAT, with a minimum of four hours hire during the weekend.

  • Is video conferencing available?

    We are unable to currently offer this service, working towards being able to offer this in the future

  • What are the access arrangements?

    All meeting, conference, exhibition, lecture theatres and classrooms are easily accessible to all visitors, with ramps at the entrance of buildings, flat floors within, selection of lifts and accessible conveniences.

  • What are the internet facilities?

    Upon hiring an in-house computer @ £75.00 plus VAT per room per day, internet access is set up as standard. Wireless internet access is available within the venue via BT Openzone www.btopenzone.com

  • What is the event cancellation charge?

    The following cancellation charges are applicable to all confirmed bookings: -

    Room Hire

    More than one calendar months notice = 50% of the total room hire charge
    Less than one calendar months notice = 100% of the total room hire charge

    Catering

    Sandwich working lunches and refreshments - Two complete working days notice = No cancellation charge, less than two complete working days = 100% charge.

    All other catering - Four complete working days notice = No cancellation charge, less than four complete working days = 100% charge.
