Recruiting from SOAS
SOAS’s unique combination of language scholarship, regional focus and disciplinary expertise means our students are exceptionally well equipped for entering a globalised workforce.
Requirements for studying at SOAS at undergraduate level range from AAA to BBC, reflecting the demanding nature of our degree programmes and the quality of our students. A high proportion of our students also have prior work experience.
Our students are specialists in the languages, laws, literature, cultures, customs, economics and politics of Asia, Africa and the Middle East. They are also dynamic and engaged citizens, taking part in a number of extra-curricular activities alongside academic studies. Participation in student societies and student enterprise initiatives is high and there is a thriving culture of volunteering.
SOAS students move on to a variety of sectors and organisations once they have graduated, including city law firms, major banks in the UK and overseas, international development organisations, government offices and charities.
SOAS Careers Service prides itself on working with employers on an individual basis to tailor support that meets your needs. We offer a range of excellent opportunities for you to promote your organisation, advertise your vacancies and meet with our highly skilled students.
If you would like to discuss your organisation’s needs and explore how we can work together, please do get in touch.
