The use of social media as a means to raise your profile and connect with others is becoming more and more widespread. While it will not replace completely the role of personal interactions, it is increasingly the medium of choice for budding academics wishing to connect with their community more widely and for job seekers more generally. This workshop explores how social media is being used and how to engage with it effectively.
