SOAS Careers Service invites Masters students to a careers and networking reception with the London International Development Centre (LIDC) on Thursday 26th January from 6.30pm-8.30pm.
The LIDC develops interdisciplinary research and training programmes to address complex international development challenges. A number of their members will be speaking at the event, as well as joining students for a drinks reception. This is an excellent opportunity to make contacts and find out further information about ways into this competitive sector. LIDC will also be talking about their work experience programme for postgraduate students and recent graduates of Bloomsbury Colleges. Placements are part-time and run for one month. Interns help with press reviews, web communication, social media, liaising with membership, and events.
Places are limited – to secure your place you need to come to the Careers Service in G12 with a £5 refundable deposit (this will be returned to you when you arrive at the networking reception).
Places are open to SOAS Masters students only.
