Assessment centres are one of the preferred methods employers use as part of the latter stages of their recruitment process. Employers want to find out how you perform in different situations and devise activities to test you in various ways.
This workshop is a perfect example of a task undertaken at an assessment centre and an excellent way for participants to develop the type of soft skills employers are looking for in today's graduates. CIMA works with over 4,500 employers which gives us an insight on how to help graduates meet those skills. The underlying theme of the session is encouraging students to work within teams, develop their communications and presentation skills, by participating in practical tasks.
You will experience taking part in a group task and get feedback on your performance.
The CIMA Business Game used for this task is a revised case study drawn from our strategic and T4 papers of our current syllabus. The objectives of both case studies are to make recommendations on the common factors businesses face.
Places are limited. To reserve your place, please bring a refundable £5 deposit to the Careers Service in Room G12.
