Specific Learning Difficulties in the Workplace

This event is designed for Final year students and Masters students who have a specific learning difficulty (e.g. dyslexia, dyspraxia, attention deficit hyperactivity disorder and Asperger’s Syndrome) to support them in the transition from University to the workplace.   

Topics that will be included are:

• Disclosing on application forms
• What are the strengths that I will be taking into the workplace?
• What kinds of reasonable adjustments can be made by my employer?
  

The session will be led by Katherine Kindersely who runs Dyslexia, Assessment and Consultancy and will include ex SOAS students.
