Susan Parnell and Barbara Lipietz will discuss the issue of governance and participation in African cities.

Sue Parnell is Professor of Geography at the University of Cape Town and the director of ‘CityLab’ at UCT’s African Centre for Cities. She is currently visiting UCL on a Leverhulme Visiting Professorship, co-sponsored by Geography and the DPU).
