PGCert in Environmental Economics

Distance Learning Programme

Overview

Featured events

The protection and sustainable management of the natural environment is an area of growing concern across the globe. It is widely recognised that most environmental problems, whether small-scale or global, are the result of a complex interaction of natural processes with economic forces and decisions. This course provides graduates with a sound theoretical base and practical appreciation of environmental and natural resource economics. It is designed to suit students with a primary interest in issues and policies concerning the rural environment.

For the Postgraduate Certificate in Environmental Economics students will take:

A Student's Perspective

When I discovered the MSc course in Sustainable Development on the internet I was thrilled because I could study part-time and work, all at the same time. The fact that the degree can be studied over a five year period is excellent especially as I have a very busy schedule.
