A 5,000 word essay, requiring an orderly synthesis of material on any approved topic in Hebrew and/or Israeli studies. The essay is written under the supervision of a teacher who must approve the topic before research is begun and who will supervise its progress.
Objectives and learning outcomes of the course
At the end of a course, a student should be able to demonstrate that they are capable of independent study or research separate from the ISP. Students will become familiar with reading primary literature and understanding theoretical and research methodologies.
