- Knowledge and understanding of the current debates about the role of media and Information Communication Technologies in the development process and their appropriate use to define a research project
- Application of critical skills to different kinds of media materials and practices relevant to specific development fields such as health, education and gender, deriving predominantly from Asia, Africa and the Middle East, enabling analytical understanding of situated practices.
