Introduction to the BLE
- Unit value:
To book you can apply for this course in one of two ways:
- Online (you will need to register for Staff Self-Service first if you have not already done so)
- By downloading a request form from the link on the right
The School started using Blackboard, a virtual learning environment, to complement face-to-face teaching only very recently but already use has spread across all departments and all levels. This course serves as a basic introduction to the BLE, or Bloomsbury Learning Environment, and is aimed at those with no or little previous experience. More information about the BLE and E-learning
This is a hands-on session where you can start to build your course, so it would be useful if you could have available reading lists, past exam papers, course descriptions or any information which you wish students to be able to access through the BLE (saved on CD, pen drive or on your network space). Any file formats will work for this: Word, PowerPoint, image or other media files.
No specialist computer knowledge is necessary.
Maximum 12 participants.
