Postgraduate Forum
All SOAS MPhil/PhD students who are working on South East Asia are invited to the CSEAS Postgraduate Forum. The purpose of the Forum is to provide students with a chance to get to know others working across disciplines on subjects related to the region, to network with each other, exchange information, help each other to develop networks beyond SOAS, and for staff and others to give you support and advice in developing your career in the global academic jobs market. An informal but focused meeting will take place twice a term, and we hope to have a one-day seminar in May in which students writing up their work can make more formal, structured presentations. The Forum is there to be of use to you, so we welcome ideas and suggestions about how it can be developed in the future.
The forums are open to SOAS MPhil/PhD students who are working on South East Asia only.
