Please join the SOAS Centre for the Study of Pakistan, the SOAS South Asia Institute, and the World Congress of Overseas Pakistanis for a spring Urdu mushaira in celebration of Pakistan Day. The event will be presided over by a veteran poet, diplomat, columnist, and professor of Urdu literature, Ata ul Haq Qasmi, and some of the most notable poets from Pakistan and the diaspora will be participating.

Biography

Ata ul Haq Qasmi is a Pakistani Urdu language columnist and poet. He has written many articles on different subjects for the leading newspapers of Pakistan.
