At the request of UNHCR's Deputy High Commissioner, Alexander Aleinikoff, Laura Hammond with support from Anna Lindley and Nimo-Ilhan Ali convened a two day workshop in March 2012 bringing together specialists on the Horn of Africa and displacement issues to discuss options for dealing with the problem of protracted displacement in and from Somalia.
