Struggling to start your essay? Pulling your hair out with the essay structure? Not sure how to pull the readings together?
Join us for our exciting new series of Writing Surgeries where you can bring your own work, learn new skills and strategies, get feedback, get motivated and get writing!
Each session will start with an input on an aspect of writing such as:
- How to get started when you are stuck
- How to use mind-mapping and other software
- Ways to break down essay titles and structure your work
- Constructing arguments
You can then use the rest of the session to continue working on your own essay (we will be in a room with computers). Staff and experienced students will be on hand to provide specialised one-to-one feedback and support. You can stay for as long or as short a time as you like.
To sign up email Carol Rifkin firstname.lastname@example.org (you can also drop in but if it is full priority will be given to those who have signed up).
Please check venue near the time by phoning 020 7074 5015 or email email@example.com.
