Help for Visually Impaired Students

Calling all Talented Visually impaired undergraduates!

Are you starting to think about what you might do after university? Or are you considering your options for summer internships in the City? Are you struggling to get anywhere in your job hunt?

If so, Blind in Business can help you.

BiB exists to help all visually impaired people of university standard get in to the best jobs the country has to offer. They work closely with some of the biggest employers and most prestigious firms in the City (and do all this for free).

They regularly help candidates secure work at Goldman Sachs, the Civil Service, KPMG, PWC, Tesco, HSBC, Barclays, Allen and Overy, Ernst and Young, IBM and hundreds more.

They do this through working with you to build on your strengths and work on your weaknesses so that they become qualities working in your favour.

They:
  • Give mock interviews to prepare you for real interviews
  • Run mock assessment centres so that they and you get to know the formats you work with best
  • Coach you on how to talk about your visual impairment in the recruitment process.
  • Run events that expose you to the best employers in the country. A real chance to network and impress.

They can also coach you if you are struggling with university life, or run you through your gap year options.
