Taiseer Elias

Taiseer Elias is master of both Eastern and Western music. An oud & violin player among the finest of the Middle East, and a leading figure in classical Arab music, he was born in the Israeli Arab village of Shafram. With many works specially written for him by contemporary composers, he has performed throughout the world both as a soloist and with different ensembles and orchestras. Presented in collaboration with the Jewish Music Institute.
