The Ground Floor and Lower Level galleries are currently provisionally scheduled until the April 2016 slot and we would not be able to consider anything for these areas before that time.
The additional first floor area within the Galleries is only used for smaller photography exhibitions, and is currently provisionally scheduled until July 2017.
The Brunei Gallery is a non-fee charging venue, being run as a non-commercial gallery. Due to the taxation status of the Gallery admission is free, and thus no charges can be offset from any income. Rather than charge a flat rate for use of the space to cover installation and running costs of an exhibition the Lender/Proposer is asked to cover all such costs. This provides the Lender/Proposer with more options as to the final budget of the exhibition.
Proposals for exhibitions are welcomed and reviewed by the Brunei Gallery Committee at quarterly meetings. The Gallery is an Exhibition Venue as opposed to an Art Gallery, thus work for sale is not normally exhibited.
If you would like to exhibit at the gallery please examine the floor plans and complete the proposal form and return to Joy Onyejiako.
For further information please contact John Hollingworth or Joy Onyejiako.
