As part of its centenary celebrations, SOAS University of London will be screening a series of recent acclaimed films from Africa, Asia and the Middle East which challenge gender inequalities.

The Second Annual CCLPS Postgraduate Conference, From the Speech to the Act: Performativity on the Margins held on 13 June 2014 was a resounding success. Selected papers from the conference will be published in an upcoming issue of the SOAS Journal of Postgraduate Research. A podcast of the conference is also forthcoming.
