SOAS commits to taking action to reduce mental health discrimination

On 16 December, Director of SOAS Paul Webley, Students’ Union Sabbatical Officer Georgie Robertson and Registrar Laura Gibbs reinforced the School’s commitment to combating mental health stigmatisation by formally signing the Time to Change pledge.

SOAS recognised for advancing gender equality

SOAS, along with just four other universities in the UK, has been awarded a ‘Bronze level’ institutional charter mark by the Equality Challenge Unit (ECU) for progress made in advancing gender equality in arts, humanities and social sciences in higher education.

Government introduces automatic enrolment into work pension schemes

The Government has introduced a statutory change to make it easier for people to save for their retirement.  All employers must now enrol their workers into a qualifying workplace scheme if they are not already in one.
