We offer a range of summer courses for English language development and introductions to academic subjects too. These courses are a great introduction to studying at an English speaking university.
You will need to be at least 17 years of age and have graduated from High school to apply

English language requirements for students choosing subject courses:
Students need at least an intermediate level of English in order to understand the lectures, which are delivered at undergraduate level, and to engage in lively discussion in the seminars and tutorials

The Summer Programme is intended for students with at least a pre-intermediate level of English and is not suitable for beginners or students with elementary level English. The English courses are offered at different levels, from pre-intermediate to advanced.

Fees
Tuition per 3-week course 1090 GBP (Summer 2013)
Accommodation per 3 weeks 670 GBP (room only) in Dinwiddy House, and all accommodation is on a self catering basis
We recommend you apply early, especially if you want accommodation in the SOAS Halls of Residence.
You will be sent an invoice for the course fees when you have accepted the offer of a place on the course. A letter of registration will be provided for visa purposes when you have paid the full fees. Refunds of accommodation and course fees are made only at the discretion of SOAS.
Accommodation options
Self catering accommodation is available in the SOAS Hall of Residence (Dinwiddy House) within easy walking distance of the Russell Square campus, where the teaching takes place. Accommodation is in single rooms with private shower and toilet; shared cooking and laundry facilities are available. All rooms have complementary wireless internet access.
