Summer English Language and Academic Subject Courses in London

“In a short period of time I gained a general view of the subject. […]. Professional and friendly staff helped me to experience an academic atmosphere and adapt to a different way of studying. I would recommend the summer courses to students who would like to sample the Higher education system of the UK”
- Student comment

If you are an international student and want to study academic English in London, then come to IFCELS at SOAS. Take a look at the IFCELS Summer Course 2015 Brochure (pdf; 1970kb)

We offer a range of summer courses for English language development and introductions to academic subjects too. These courses are a great introduction to studying at an English speaking university.

You will need to be at least 17 years of age to apply. Normally you will need to have graduated from High School, but in exceptional circumstances we can consider 17 year olds with one year of High School remaining.

All courses consist of 18 teaching hours per week and are taught in the daytime between 9 AM and 5 PM.
