IFCELS Entrance Tests in London and abroad
All applicants to ICC Foundation and FDPS Premasters are interviewed and most are required to sit an entrance test.
Students whose English level meets our entry requirements can be considered by an emailed essay and a telephone interview, but we also run tests and interviews at SOAS and in some other countries.
Candidates applying from countries not listed below should send their applications to ifcels@soas.ac.uk and we will confirm arrangements for testing and interview.
Students intending to apply for SOAS or University of London accommodation are advised to make an early application for the programme in order to be tested by May at the latest
London
Entrance tests and interviews for 2013 entry to ICC foundation and FDPS premasters programmes will take place at SOAS Faber Building, 24 Russell Square, on regular dates starting in February 2013.

In the meantime applications for IFCELS 2013 programmes can be e-mailed to: ifcels@soas.ac.uk or faxed to :+44 (0)20 7898 4809. Suitably qualified candidates in the UK can be considered by arrangement before the regular tests begin.
China
Tests and interviews for entry to ICC Foundation and FDPS premasters programmes starting in September 2013 will take place on a regular basis in Beijing, Shanghai and Guangzhou from November 2012 to July 2013.
The next dates are as follows:
Guangzhou: Saturday 12th January (now complete)
Beijing: Beijing: Saturday 6th April (full)
In May there will be tests in Beijing, Shanghai and Guangzhou. The dates will be posted here once they are confirmed
Please send applications and supporting documents to ifcels@soas.ac.uk as early as possible as places at the tests are limited.
Japan
We will be running entrance tests and interviews in Japan for September 2013 entry in Tokyo and Osaka on a regular basis between October 2012 and July 2013. The next opportunity to attend a test/interview will be in mid February in Tokyo.
Suitably qualified candidates can also be considered by emailed essay and telephone interview.

Korea
We will be running entrance tests and interviews in Korea for September 2013 entry in Seoul in late May/early June 2013. The exact date will be posted here once it is fixed. Tests and interviews for applicants for the ICC Foundation programme at SOAS starting in September 2014 will take place in Istanbul in October 2013 and February 2014. Please contact David Fisher on df6@soas.ac.uk if you would like to arrange an interview.
