Request
1) For each of the last five full academic years (06/07 to 10/11), the number of students caught cheating in coursework, broken down by what offence was committed.
2) For each of the last five full academic years (06/07 to 10/11), the number of students caught cheating in exams, broken down by what offence was committed.
3) For each of these years, I would like a breakdown of how students were punished for cheating.
Response
1) 2006-07: 17
2007-08: 19
2008-09: 15
2009-10: 33
2010-11: 47
All were proven cases of plagiarism.
2) One case of plagiarism in 2006-07.
3) All students who were found guilty of plagiarism were awarded a mark of '0' for the offending assessment.
