5. No volume discounts or bulk minute bundles apply to our fixed lines. We have a small number (c.30) of mobile phones supplied through O2, but the majority of handsets are being placed onto PAYG as their contract expires.

  • Fixed line rental is £3,000 per annum; call charges on fixed lines are around £40,000 per annum
  • Our mobile phones bill is approximately £1,000 per month.

  • O2 provides our mobile minutes. The contract is a Small Business Agreement for 2,000 business shared minutes per month.
  • The contract was signed on 6th July 2011 for 24 months.

  • SOAS uses the Janet network, but BT Openzone also have presence on our site.
  • We have arrangements with COLT and Virgin Media to link our buildings using either dedicated or leased fibre.
