Under the Freedom of Information Act 2000, I seek the following information about your current HR and payroll solution or service:

1.) Name of your current solution and provider.

2.) Date that the current contract was signed.

3.) Length of the current contract term for both HR and Payroll.

4.) Date that the HR and Payroll contracts are due to be renewed.

5.) Current annual maintenance charges for your HR/Payroll solution.

6.)Original contract value of your HR/ Payroll solution.

7.) Number of employees in your organisation.

2.) The initial contract was signed on 19 December 2000, the contract was re-signed on 1 April 2012 extending this for a further three years. A contract variation to increase the number of staff in the system was signed on 28 February 2013, but this did not affect the current contract length.

3.) Three years from last contract signing (1 April 2012).

4.) The contract will be reviewed at the end of the current contract on 30 March 2015.

5.) This is included in the overall contract value. We do not have a separate figure for annual maintenance.

6.) £75,919.48 + VAT: this includes the use of the software, patching, and hosting.

7.) As at 18 July 2013, 1,249 people are employed at SOAS, University of London.
