Iranian students and faculty members

Request
[...] We are looking for the total number of Iranian students with a breakdown by level of study (PGT, PGR) and if possible the number of visiting academics and faculty members.
Response
As of 7 December 2012, when SOAS captures a snapshot of the student body, the numbers of students of Iranian nationality were:
Postgraduate Research students (PGR) - 12
Postgraduate Taught students (PGT) - 5
Undergraduates (UG) - 5
This includes students who are part way through the enrolment process, but registered for courses, plus PGR students who are writing-up.
There are 8 employees (all in fractional or Graduate Teaching Assistant posts) working in the Faculties who have stated that their nationality is Iranian.
SOAS will only hold a record on a visiting academic if they have an employment contract with the School.
