Connecting your Google SOAS account to a Mail Client

We Prefer you to use the Google Web interface, as this will also be what you see when you are not on campus, but Google allows you to access your Emails using the various mail clients that are available - the best method to do this is to use the IMAP Protocol. What is IMAP?

SOAS is a Google Apps account, which means that when the following guides ask for your USERNAME or ACCOUNT NAME you MUST use your full email address (eg. xx0@soas.ac.uk)
