Jaina phd scholar SOAS welcomes first scholarship-funded PhD student in the field of Jaina Studies

Samani Unnata Pragya has been awarded a scholarship to conduct her research through the Centre of Jaina Studies at SOAS, supervised by Dr Peter Flügel.

Results of the 2015 National Student Survey (NSS), released today, show that students at SOAS, University of London are highly satisfied with ‘Teaching on my course,’ with an above average rating of 89%.

Portrait of Johannes Klatt SOAS receives new grant for research into major Indian religion

The Centre of Jaina Studies in the Department of the Study of Religion at SOAS, University of London, has been awarded a three-year research grant from the Leverhulme Trust to publish the work of librarian and indologist Johannes Emil Klatt.
