International Students

International Student Exchange: Japan and Korea

What is the exchange programme?

The programme is a reciprocal agreement which allows students from a number of universities in Japan and Korea to come to SOAS for an academic year of undergraduate study, and vice versa. Students on this exchange will be given a transcript of their academic studies at the end of the year so that they are able to transfer credit back to their home universities.

SOAS values its international exchange students very highly. They are fully integrated into the academic and social life of the school. They attend the same classes and lectures, sit the same exams and have access to the same student facilities and support as other undergraduate students. Exchange students are able to choose from over 400 courses and can build a unique programme, exploring the range of specialist courses available at SOAS that may not be available in their home institution.
