Korean Upper Intermediate Course
A one year course in spoken and written Korean at upper intermediate level

This is a one-year course with three terms of ten weeks.

Description
The course aims to consolidate and to improve the skills acquired on the lower intermediate course or similar courses, and to develop communicative skills in a wide range of contexts enabling the student to effectively interact in informal and formal situations with spoken and written language.
This course will cover:
- various situational conversations
- a wide range of vocabulary, phrases and more complex structures through plenty of pattern practice
- listening comprehension with audio and video materials.
Method
The course is taught in English and Korean and includes coverage of the four skills of speaking, listening, reading and writing and a balance between communicative activities, structure practice and grammar. Class size is normally limited to fifteen to allow close involvement.

Fees for this Course
The fee for each ten-week term is £240 payable in advance.
This course is subsidised by the Sejong Institute (Ministry of Culture, Republic of Korea) in order to encourage the learning and teaching of Korean worldwide, allowing us to set a lower fee. In order to obtain this fee subsidy we are required to forward your name to Sejong Institute in the Republic of Korea (thus outside of the EEA - European Economic Area). Only your name and the course title and dates will be forwarded, no other identifying data.
