Language acquisition seminar series

A series of six seminars are given by academics from different departments who will talk about the role of language in language-based scholarship and research.

ALL MA students who take a language acquisition course along with undergraduate students should attend the seminar series. If you wonder if it applies to you, look at the course proposal of your language course on the web, or ask your lecturer, programme convenor, or Head of the language department.

Assessment:

One essay of 3,000 words related to a topic discussed in the seminars or a translation including a commentary. Your choice of topic should be discussed with your language teacher, your programme convenor and the seminars’ convenor.

Value:  30% of your language course. To be submitted on the first Friday of term 3.
