  • To celebrate the upcoming Chinese New Year (Year of the Horse), London Confucius Institute (SOAS) and SOAS Language Centre have jointly arranged the Glimpse of China Exhibition, to bring images of both rural beauty and modern city life to SOAS.

  • A community heritage project involving SOAS MA in Migration and Diaspora Studies students has collected a series of oral histories of Ugandan Asians and will exhibit its findings in the Wolfson Gallery at SOAS, University of London later this month.

  • Revealing the Invisible: rural wage workers in Ethiopia and Uganda
  • This exhibition shows a selection from the hundreds of images from a SOAS research project called Fairtrade, Employment and Poverty Reduction in Ethiopia and Uganda. A team of four SOAS researchers, together with a research officer and researchers in Ethiopia and Uganda, worked on this project from 2009-2014.

  • Bridging Past and Present: Moustafa Hassan at the Wolfson Gallery
  • The Wolfson Gallery presents a solo exhibition by Moustafa Hassan, master calligrapher and Arabic calligraphy instructor at SOAS, University of London. The exhibition includes Hassan’s most recent works as well as initial plans for forthcoming productions.
