Please note that we will be restricting access to some users from Monday 25th April to Tuesday 31st May due to high demand for study spaces by SOAS students during deadline and exam times.

This new collection from digital resource provider Adam Matthew allows library users to browse archives of publications from the Church Missionary Society (CMS), the Church of England Zenana Missionary Society and latterly the South American Missionary Society covering the whole scope of their missionary activity from 1804 to 2009

Trial access to Index of References Dealing with Talmudic Literature

The Index of References Dealing with Talmudic Literature (Saul Lieberman Institute of Talmudic Research, Jewish Theological Seminary of America) lists bibliographic references for passages in rabbinic literature and related subjects in various scholarly works and connects them to the location within rabbinic literature to which they are related.

Auto Log off of​ Student PCs Left Idle​ - ​from 1st March 2016
Effective 1 March 2016, student PCs left unattended or idle will automatically ​log off after 30 minutes.​  Students have requested this policy due to increasing demand for PCs and study spaces, especially during the busy exam periods.

Accessing your Library account via the Library Catalogue has been simplified.  You can now login into your account using your SOAS id and password.
