Data and statistics
This page lists some of the major sets of data available from the Economic and Social Data Service, if what you want isn't listed here please try their Data Catalogue or their associated resources links. In addition there are also some Chinese language statistical databases.
Most of the data is only available to SOAS staff and students on or off-campus. You'll need to use your SOAS id and password (the same as you use for SOAS e-mail and computers) to access the data on or off-campus. When you use the ESDS site for the first time you will need to complete an additional registration form; also some of the data sets require you to agree to further terms and conditions when you use them for the first time.
If you need help with any of the databases you can:
- Ask at the Library Enquiry Desk (Ground floor/Level E), Monday to Friday 9am-5pm.
- E-mail electronic@soas.ac.uk
- Phone 020 7898 4146
