This organization hosted by Rutgers, the State University of New Jersey, aims to bring together scholars and professionals with an interest in Africa and also provides information to the Africanist community.

Association of African Universities (AAU)

The AAU provides a forum for the exchange of information and co-operation among Higher Education Institutions in Africa. It also hosts the Database of African Theses and Dissertations (DATAD). The database is searchable via author or keyword. All subjects within the social sciences, sciences and humanities are covered. The database requires user registration but citations may be viewed free of charge.

Harriet Tubman's Resource Center on the African Diaspora

Digitalized research facility that focuses on the history of the African diaspora and the movement of Africans to various parts of the world, particularly the Americas and the Islamic lands of North Africa and the Middle East.
