Africa Focus: Image and Sound Collection
This online collection is maintained by the University of Wisconsin-Madison Libraries. Completed in March 2000, the collection contains more than 3,000 slides, 500 photographs, and 50 hours of sound of songs and singing from forty-five countries.

Music in the Afghan North 1967-1972
A research project undertaken by Mark Slobin at Wesleyan University. This website, part of the Learning Objects Studio at Wesleyan University, presents his research and illustrates its findings, consisting of photography, moving picture clips, sound clips and the written text. Slobins book, Music in the Culture of Northern Afghanistan (1976), based on his research is available to download free from this site.
