- You can apply immediately on arrival at the Library
- Student ID must be shown

Please note: Birkbeck applicants must bring a valid SCONUL Access cards and their student ID in order to apply for membership.
All other University of London colleges
- You can apply immediately on arrival at the Library
- Student ID must be shown
- Proof of address must be shown when applying to borrow books (MPhil/PhD students and academic staff members only).

Students doing a course at SOAS as part of their degree should apply to the SOAS Registry.
