Sunday Closures for scheduled maintenance 2010
The Library is scheduled to be closed on the following Sundays in 2010 for maintenance:
Sunday 14th March, Sunday 13th June, Sunday 22nd August.
Apologies for any inconvenience caused.
Library Transformation Project : Easter Closure Dates - Thursday 1st to Sunday 11th April 2010
As part of the improvement works of the Library Transformation Project the Library will be closed Thursday 1st to Sunday 11th April inclusive. Online facilities will remain unaffected. We apologise in advance for the inconvenience that these enabling works may cause.

Library Transformation Project
SOAS Library collections are currently being moved within the Library (with some collections moving to off-site storage) in preparation for the Library Transformation Project. Please check the Library Transformation Project website prior to your visit, to ensure the collections you wish to consult are available.
SOAS Library is normally open at the following times:
Term time, Christmas and Easter vacations
| Monday - Thursday | 9am to 11.30pm (issue desk closes at 8pm, membership at 6.55pm*) |
| Friday | 9am to 11.30pm (issue and membership desks close at 6.55pm*) |
| Saturday | 10.30am to 6pm (staffed: issue and membership desks close at 5.45pm) |
| Sunday | 10.30am to 6pm (*unstaffed: self-service only) |
*No new membership cards or day passes issued after 6.55pm Monday-Friday, after 5.45pm Saturday and all day Sunday.
Summer vacation:
| Monday - Friday | 9am to 9pm (*unstaffed after 5pm) |
| Saturday | 10.30am to 6pm (staffed) |
| Sunday | 10.30am to 6pm (*unstaffed) |
*No new membership cards or day passes issued after 4.45pm Monday-Friday, after 5.45pm Saturday and all day Sunday.
