- All requests for photocopies of material held at the SOAS library must comply with the UK Copyright, Designs and Patents Act 1988.
- Photocopies are supplied by post, there is no FAX or electronic delivery
- The following categories of material held at SOAS library are not available on ILL:

- Audio/video material
- Books from Short Loan and One Week Loan Collections
- Microforms
- Periodicals
- Pre-1900 editions
- Rare books
- Reference only material
- SOAS PhD theses
Some SOAS PhD theses are available electronically (free of charge) via the British Library EThOS (Electronic Theses Online) service - http://ethos.bl.uk/
PhD theses that are not available for immediate download can be ordered via EThOS for a charge.
