Dir Granaz Mousavi (2009). The controversial film is about an actress who considers emigrating from Iran because of difficulties that include the banning of works in which she has appeared.  In a case of life imitating art, My Tehran for Sale was banned in Iran and the actress, Marzieh Vafamehr, received a harsh sentence from the judiciary.

Granaz Mousavi is an award-winning Iranian-Australian poet, screen writer and director whose short and feature films have been screened around the world in international film festivals including the Toronto International Film Festival.

Followed by an online Q&A with the director, Granaz Mousavi, from Melbourne, Australia. Chaired by Saeed Zeydabadi-Nejad, SOAS.
