Following on last year's introduction to the Art of Heritage research project, Aisa Martinez will further elaborate on studying traditional dress and adornment in Saudi Arabia. She will compare methodology using archival records of European travellers to her fieldwork visits to the Kingdom in 2012. Using these research methods in addition to studying the AOH dress collection, there are lessons and opportunities to gain from the interdisciplinary approach to studying dress in the Arabian Peninsula.
