Maranlou will review some of the literature in the field of access to justice and evaluate the historical development of access to justice in the Islamic Republic of Iran together with an analysis of the barriers women face. In her lecture she will present the findings of a study conducted in Iran (Tehran) to assess the perceptions of women with regard to access to justice.
